Hildah Namigga

Vice-President

About Me: I am from Uganda, “the pearl of Africa”. I am currently in the second year of my MS Nutrition program. It is with great pleasure that I get to serve as vice president of CIGs alongside multi-talented team players. I am hoping to render my services and contribute towards building a better and more supportive environment for fellow international graduate students. A space where we can learn, share resources, connect, and have fun together. Why I'm Passionate About CIGS: CIGs was a great navigating tool for me as an international graduate student in my first year of graduate school, from sharing tips to providing resources and connections. It also gave me a chance at leadership in a space that was new to me. I intend to continue extending that culture to other graduate students. Not to forget how much fun we have through the hangouts and activities. The connection and growth within that space are worth tapping into. It brings me great joy to know that I can continue serving and representing graduate students in ways that matter to the best of my abilities.Key Achievements:
  • Being able to do graduate school in the nutrition field which I am very passionate about is the biggest achievement for me for now. Hoping for more career growth.
Fun Facts:
