About Me: I am originally from Nepal and am currently pursuing a PhD in Veterinary Sciences at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. My research focuses on predicting and preventing lameness in dairy cows to support improved productivity, profitability, and animal welfare on dairy farms.

My Responsibilities: As Director of Programming, I will help CIGS plan, organize, and coordinate events and activities that reflect the diverse needs of international graduate students.

Why I'm Passionate About CIGS: I am passionate about creating welcoming, supportive spaces where international students can build community, share their experiences, and discuss challenges openly and safely. International students often face distinct economic, legal, and cultural barriers, and I hope to advocate for them by organizing events that address these needs.
