2019 B.S. Agricultural Education
Winona grew up in the Twin Cities, and didn't have a history with agriculture until attending the Academy for Sciences and Agriculture (AFSA High School) in Vadnais Heights. She very quickly fell in love with agriculture, and after graduating pursued a degree in Agricultural Education at the University of Minnesota. She received her teaching license and Bachelors Degree in 2019, and moved to Lake Crystal, Minnesota to teach agriculture courses at the high school. She currently works with Minnesota Farmers Union as the Education Director, after moving back to the Twin Cities to be closer to home. She enjoys working with the Youth Leadership Camps as a part of her position, and serves as the liaison for FFA, 4-H, and other agricultural education programs in Minnesota.
