1994 B.S. Agricultural Education
Val Aarsvold grew up in rural Goodhue, Minnesota. Active in FFA and other youth organizations, the University of Minnesota was a great fit for her. Upon graduating with a degree in Agricultural Education, she taught at Willmar and Plainview High Schools for seven years. Following her appreciation for the FFA and the positive impact that this organization has on young people, she took the position of Executive Director for Minnesota FFA Foundation. In this role she develops mutually beneficial partnerships to provide support of agricultural education teachers and the more than 35,000 students served by our programs. When Val isn't serving FFA, she volunteers for the University of Minnesota and her church.
