Elizabeth is excited to meet and help future generations of students! She graduated from the University of Minnesota with an Environmental Science, Policy, and Management major. Today, she works as a statewide community science coordinator and insect ecologist with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to support bumble bees and survey for rare insects. Previously, she worked as a conservation and science technician at a large company in Orlando, FL to protect butterflies and other pollinators. Her experience includes raising imperiled butterflies for release in the wild, conducting research on community science, and helping create pollinator habitats at solar sites. While working, she earned her M.S. in Entomology for the University of Florida.
