Get Involved
Our Mission: As women of the Carlson School, we are the thought-leader and networking organization that brings you value for where you are in your professional life.
We work together in close collaboration with other women’s organizations and companies with women leaders to co-promote and elevate events
We create thought-leadership and member to member networking events to support the professional development of our members
We support the efforts of the Carlson School to support women alums and students
We have three committees to help advance our mission:
Events and Programming: This committee owns all the CWGC programming including 2 signature events each year, quarterly professional development, networking events, mentorship circles and more! Bringing top tier speakers and thought leadership to our members helps achieve our goal of supporting professional development.
Communications and Membership: This committee manages all the CWGC communications including the email newsletter, LinkedIn, website updates, and coordinating with CSOM owned communication channels. New member attainment and membership management also falls within this committee. Special projects like member journey mapping and insights bring the member experience to the forefront of what we do.
School Relations: The Carlson School has many other student and alum chapters with opportunities for cross-promotion and collaboration. Additionally, the school has needs for the insights of our women alums. This committee is the conduit for these relationship and collaboration opportunities. This team also leads opportunities for our members to give back to the school through opportunities like classroom speaking, career center support and philanthropy.
Opportunities to get involved: We are always looking for passionate Carlson alums who bring valuable leadership expertise to join our leadership team and advance our mission. We need both leads for each of the committees who sit on the executive board and committee members.
