Redesigning the Nocturnal Home Hemodialysis Needle Monitor and Alarm System
As more and more patients choose nocturnal home hemodialysis as their modality for treatment, and care centers are further incentivized to provide this care, an improved approach to monitoring venous needle dislodgement is needed. BLISS offers a wireless monitoring system to notify the patient or caregiver of needle dislodgement.
