Advancing MRI from Engineering to Human Imaging
Advancing MRI from Engineering to Human Imaging
The AURORA Lab develops technologies that expand the capabilities of magnetic resonance imaging, particularly at ultrahigh magnetic fields. Our research integrates radiofrequency engineering, electromagnetic modeling, parallel transmission, MRI safety, pulse-sequence development, physics-informed deep learning techniques, and human neuroimaging to enable more sensitive, uniform, higher-resolution, and safer imaging of the human brain.
We develop hardware and imaging methods that address the opportunities and challenges of MRI at 7 T, 10.5 T, and beyond. Our goal is to translate the fundamental gains available at higher magnetic fields into robust, high-resolution human imaging.
