About Me
My name is Yourdanis Sedarous and I am a Lecturer in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Michigan.
In my research, I investigate the extent to which bilingual speakers’ cognitive representations of the syntactic structures of their two languages are interconnected. To do so, I pursue an integrated, data driven approach to the scientific study of language by applying experimental methods to investigate both qualitatively and quantitatively the language knowledge and use of various bilingual communities, and extend these results to inform our theories.
