Invited talk at the 2023 APS March meeting
I was invited to present at the 2023 APS March Meeting held at Las Vegas, NV in the invited session of D50: Electron-phonon coupling effects on optical spectra: theory and applications. The session is on new developments in the field of electron-phonon interactions with a specfic focus of optical properties. With the scientific community working on modeling electron-phonon interactions expanding rapidly in recent years, it is a very timely session disseminating the current knowledge on the physics and applications of finite-temperature optical calculations from first principles.
My talk focused on recent advances of perturbation-theory-based theoretical characterization of phonon-assisted linear and nonlinear optical processes in both insulating and conducting materials. See the full abstract here and a photo of the talk below!
