Mission Statement

To create and foster well-being in graduate medical education at the University of Michigan Medical School as we all strive to be at our best in serving our patients and in supporting each other.

Announcements

January 3, 2020: The Well-being Steering Committee is proud to announce the launch of this website. In the coming future, we will be posting updates on projects and initiatives that we take on. This site will also include information on the the members of the steering committee and their responsibilities. Moreover, this site will also serve as a place for people to provide input and ideas on well-being at Michigan Medicine through our comment form.

Previous Announcements

August 8, 2019: The Well-being Steering Committee just held the first of many general body meetings. During this meeting, we developed our schedule for the following year to ensure that we can create and foster well-being during medical education at the University of Michigan.

May 30, 2019: We have appointed student leaders to all workgroups and are now working on gathering faculty leaders to partner with our students.

April 11, 2019: The Well-being Steering Committee just finished collecting all applications for workgroup leaders this coming year. We look forward to reviewing them and sending out decisions!
