Victors FC is a student-run competitive women’s soccer club at the University of Michigan, dedicated to making high-level soccer accessible to those who want to keep playing—without the full commitment required by the universities club team.

Our mission is to provide a competitive, inclusive, and flexible environment for women passionate about soccer. Tryouts are held at the beginning of the academic year and are open to students at the University of Michigan. Team selections are made based on talent, commitment, and being a good teammate, ensuring a competitive and rewarding experience for all players. We play in a league of collegiate club teams and currently field two teams (around 23 players on each team), both of which practice twice a week and compete in 1–2 league matches every weekend throughout the fall. 

Victors FC was founded by a group of University of Michigan students who wanted to keep soccer in their lives at a level more competitive than intramurals, but without the time commitment of the varsity or club teams. They recognized a need for a space where talented players could continue to grow in the sport while still having the flexibility to focus on academics and other campus involvement. Just as important, they wanted to create a community—a team where players could build lasting friendships, support one another, and enjoy the game in a fun, welcoming environment. What began as a small, student-led initiative has since grown into a vibrant community where competitive soccer, meaningful friendships, and a shared love for the game all come together.
