The Undergraduate Research Symposium was founded in 2018 with the goal of making research more accessible to undergraduates at the University of Michigan. We are the only research symposium on campus open to all undergraduate students, and we strive to create a forum for students of all majors to hone their research communication skills and gain exposure to the broad range of research occurring at the University of Michigan. We additionally support research on campus through our annual travel awards, which provide funding for students to present at external conferences.
