Academic Accommodations:
1) IWG Ramadan Fact Sheet: A guide to approaching Ramadan in the classroom to provide to your instructors if needed.
2) CRLT Blog: Helping Students Navigate Ramadan and Final Exams
3) Academic department spreadsheet: UM Ramadan Policies by School/College
4) Ramadan accommodation email template:Â A template students can use to request accommodations during exams.
Dining Accommodations:
1) MDining has Ramadan meal plans for students who are still on campus.
You do not have to be on the meal plan to sign up for Ramadan meals through MDining. While there are a couple of different options to select from, we recommend using Blue Bucks to pay for your to-go meals. Blue Bucks are usable at all MDining locations, both retail and residential halls, and retail units not affiliated with MDining on campus (see full list here). Check out their Menus and Locations.
Other community needs:
1) The Maize and Blue Cupboard is open and providing food, as always, at no cost to anyone with a U-M ID.
2) The Dean of Students Office is the central location to coordinate help for students. Student Emergency Funds are a source of relief for students facing financial hardship.
