I am a first-year Ph.D. student in Management and Organizations at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. Prior to joining Ross, I received my Bachelor's and Master's in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

My research focuses on 1) examining the barriers to upward mobility for employees from disadvantaged groups and 2) understanding how various aspects of social identity and occupational factors interact to shape employee behaviors. I also explore the challenges faced by individuals with multiple marginalized identities and how these intersections affect their ability to navigate workplace and career dynamics
