About me

I was born and raised in Baia Mare, Romania 🇷🇴 where I attended the Vasile Lucaciu National College for high school.

I moved to California to attend Stanford University, where I pursued a Physics major, with a concentration in Astrophysics and a minor in Math.

I now live in Ann Arbor, Michigan, attending the University of Michigan as a PhD candidate in Astronomy and Astrophysics. My work with Jon M. Miller focuses on describing the distribution of spins across stellar-mass Black Holes, focusing mainly on the sources observed in X-ray binary systems.

In my free time, I like to play video games, I enjoy (mostly watching but occasionally playing) soccer, archery, and photography.

You can find a list of my publications on ADS and on ORCID
