Hello this is Verna Bell, the Registrar at the School of Social Work. Also working in my office is Donna Kennedy and Hannah McPherson. If you have questions related to degree requirements, course scheduling, registration, dropping and adding courses, forms that have been submitted, substitutions, exemptions, independent studies over 18 credit hours, course enrollment petitions, change of pathway forms, you can always start with our office with that, and if we can’t respond to you, we can certainly get you in the right direction. Another office we work really closely with is the University Office of the Registrar. They will be able to help you with different things. Two of the most common things that we hear about are getting a transcript or loan deferment related questions. Their office can be reached through email at wolverineservices all as one word @umich.edu. Our School of Registrar’s Office can be reached at ssw.registrar@umich.edu. We can also be reached at 734-764-7283 but if you call us, you need to leave some type of voice message no matter how brief, if you expect us to respond.
