Tim: Hi, my name is Tim Colenback and I am the Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management.</p>  <p>Erin: Hi, my name is Erin Zimmer and I am the Director for Student Services.

Tim: Erin and I work in the School’s Office of Student Services and Enrollment Management. Our office manages admissions and recruitment efforts for the MSW program, financial aid for MSW students, and numerous student services to help support MSW students.

We are very excited to be celebrating the School of Social Work’s 100th anniversary this year and even more excited to be launching the school’s fully online MSW program. We deeply value the diversity in experience, knowledge, and identity that you will bring to this program. We are pleased that this program makes our MSW degree accessible to a wider range of students.

It is our hope that online MSW students feel connected and that they are an integral part of the School.

Erin: As you will hear from several of our colleagues, the Office of Student Services and Enrollment Management serves to support students throughout their entire time in the MSW program: from admissions, to orientation, to graduation. Please do reach out if you have questions about funding, have an interest in joining a student organization, or need to be connected to a university resource. We are here to help you navigate through the MSW program in the most optimal way possible.

We recognize that with a new program comes a great amount of learning and potential adjustment. We are hoping that you share your experience with us and communicate your needs and ideas to make this online program a success.

Tim: We are so pleased you have chosen the University of Michigan for your social work degree. The social work profession needs talented individuals like you, now more than ever. We look forward to meeting you soon.
