We are a team of clinicians and researchers from the University of Michigan and its Rogel Cancer Center who seek to understand the unique reproductive health concerns of young people who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Young women with breast cancer often have questions about the impact of cancer and cancer treatment on their reproductive health.

Common questions include:

Will I still be able to get pregnant in the future?

What are my options for preserving my fertility right now?

If I don't want to get pregnant, what birth control options are safe to use?

Right now, we do not know enough about if and how your reproductive health concerns about being addressed by health care teams - whether it be your cancer providers, primary care providers, or other specialists.

Your voice can help improve how health professionals provide reproductive health counseling and care to those with breast cancer in the future.
