Minki Phillip Lee


I am a student at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, concurrently pursuing degrees in Bachelor and Master of science in Mathematics. I am studying mathematical biology under the supervision of Professor Daniel Forger

My primary research interests are in circadian rhythms and sleep-wake cycle using wearable technologies. Specifically, I am interested in how perturbations in the sleep-wake cycle cause misalignments in circadian clocks. My recent work has also been in computational psychiatry, studying the interaction of circadian misalignments and the risk of mood disorders. 

My mathematical areas of interest are nonlinear dynamics and stochastic processes (such as continuous-discrete Kalman Filtering) and applications of Topological Data Analysis (TDA).
