My name is Liying Li. I am a postdoctoral assistant professor at University of Michigan. My mentor is Jinho Baik.
I received my BS degree in 2014 from Peking Univeristy. I received my PhD degree in 2019 from Courant Institute, NYU under the supervision of Yuri Bakhtin.
My primary research interest is in the field of probability. I am particularly interested in models related to the Kardar–Parisi–Zhang (KPZ) universality class, including stochastic Burgers/Hamilton–Jacobi equations, first-/last-passage percolations (FPP/LPP), directed polymers, etc.
Here are my cv and research statement.
