Biography
I am currently a Principal Researcher in the Tolan Center for Healthcare at the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business, where I work on increasing access to care across the UChicago health system through mathematical modeling and analytics.
In May 2025, I earned my PhD in Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan, co-advised by Dr. Amy Cohn and Dr. Ruiwei Jiang. I was very fortunate to work at the Center for Healthcare Engineering and Patient Safety (CHEPS), where my research focused on applying operations research techniques to guide decision making in healthcare. I am also grateful to be a recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and a Fulbright US Student Research Grant to Jordan.
