Billy Mazotti

Billy (he/him) is a 1st year graduate student studying Aerospace Engineering with a focus on autonomous systems and control at the University of Michigan. He earned bachelor's degrees in Aerospace Science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 2021. While at Davis, he researched computer vision systems for robotic inspection of the International Space Station as part of the Humans, Robotics, Vehicles Integration & Performance (HRVIP) Laboratory. His research interests include robotics for space applications, computer vision in dynamic and unstructured environments, and trajectory optimization. Advised by Dr. Max Li, Billy is investigating implications of Remote ID legislation on privacy for drone package delivery systems.
