Clinical Research Award — Selected as one of 3 winners out of 150 abstracts for best oral presentation at the Nursing Research Conference at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Best Oral Presentation — Selected as the sole winner of all presenters for best oral research presentation and awarded a $500 prize at the First Inaugural Symposium of the Society of Surgical Ergonomics.

Semifinalist for Patient Experience Innovation Challenge — Selected as a semifinalist out of 40 competitors for the Patient Experience Shark Tank Employee Innovation Challenge at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, with our ‘user-centered patient roadmap’ idea to improve patient experience within the hospital’s mobile app.

Outstanding Senior Departmental Award — Selected as one of 17 students recognized as in the top 5% of graduates in the Psychology Department based on merit and involvement in scholarly activities such as research and service.

Internship Essay Contest Winner — Selected as the sole winner representing the College of Liberal Arts for best internship essay by the CSULB Career Development Center and awarded a $500 scholarship for school-related expenses.

Regional Research Award — Awarded one of 12 prestigious research awards at the 99th Annual Western Psychological Association Convention by Psi Chi, The International Honor Society in Psychology.

McNair Scholar — Selected as one of 9 students to participate in the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program based on strong academic potential and awarded a $2,800 stipend to conduct summer research.

Departmental Research Award — Awarded 1st place for best undergraduate completed research at the 46th annual Psychology Day Research Fair at CSULB.

President’s Honor List – Honor received for obtaining a GPA between 3.75-4.00 for a given semester as a full-time student.

Dean’s Honor List – Honor received for obtaining a GPA between 3.50-3.74 for a given semester as a full-time student.
