What excites you every day?

I mean, nowadays it's just living here. It’s just being in a place where I can learn but also spend so much time with my friends, I’d say.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Uhh––I mean, that’s a pretty loaded for 10:30 in the morning. Hopefully I get into med school. If you are talking bigger, I hope to be able to give back to people when I am in the position to do so.

What you do to feel connected to those around you?

I think it's as simple as just being there, really. Physically. Just being together and doing something together. I would say that’s it.

What is your opinion on the concept of becoming an adult? Have you mastered it quite yet? Does it scare you?

Not really. It doesn’t scare me. I feel like people make it out to be this giant thing, or see it as some kind of switch that turns on at whatever age. I don’t. I feel like you don’t really become an adult, you just have more responsibilities to deal with. That’s how I see it.

Do you feel like you have been able to articulate what your beliefs and values in life are?

Yeah, I would say so.

Do you care to share what’s important to you?

I think it’s just seeing the best in people. When I think about the way people act––there is always a reason. I feel like a lot of people don’t keep that in mind. We are very reactive. Being fair to others is a big thing for me. You should never react to something immediately and at face value.

I think reactivity is something we all can work on.

Yeah, I completely agree.
