A Malaysian
I hail from the Borneo Island of East Malaysia. Yes, I love forests, but we don't live on trees!

I'm studying Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Michigan.
Things I like
I love research! My research interest lies in computational linguistics and mathematical education.
I enjoy teaching! I'm currently an instructional aide for EECS 376: Foundations of Computer Science at the University of Michigan.

Code as a Second Language: I'm not just fluent- I dream in C, C++, and Python. Currently exploring R and SQL.
I'm fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin; proficient in Malay; beginner in Korean and Japanese.

I have strong critical thinking skills developed through my debating experience, which allow me to summarize and present ideas effectively.
Goals
My goals are to apply my knowledge of math in computer science and to explore artificial intelegence and computational linguistics.
I am eager to learn and grow as a professional in math and computer science, and I am committed to working hard to achieve my goals.
