Starting in January 2025, Chamber Choir will take place at the same time as University Choir on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:00p - 2:20p.
The REGISTRATION FORM for auditions will open on Friday, November 8.
If you are currently in Chamber Choir and CANNOT sing on MWF:
You may join Orpheus Singers without an audition.
You do NOT need to audition for Winter Term if:
You are a current member of University Choir and would like to remain there.
You are a current member of Orpheus Singers and you would like to remain there.
You are a current member of Chamber Choir and you would like to remain there.
You do not currently sing in choir and you would like to JOIN University Choir.
You NEED TO AUDITION if:
You are currently in another choir and would like to audition for Chamber Choir.
You do not currently sing in choir and would like to audition for Chamber Choir.
Please note: The limited number of openings in Orpheus Singers for the Winter '25 Term will be filled from these Chamber Choir auditions.
Auditions will be held in Moore 3054 in the office of Dr. Eugene Rogers on:

All students auditioning must complete the registration form.
This is separate from registering for the course and both are required.
Once you complete the registration form, it takes roughly 24-48 hours to PROCESS your information;
once your form has been processed, you will be able to choose an audition time using the Asimut interface.

One art song OR choral-friendly piece of your choosing (please provide a copy of your music for the accompanist).
Demonstration of vocal range and tone through choral drills of the Conductor's Choice (for example: ascending or descending triads 1-3-5-3-1, ascending or descending half-steps do-di-re-ri, etc.)
