Bio

I am a third year PhD candidate at the University of Michigan. My research interests include high redshift supermassive black hole - galaxy scaling relations, and gravitational wave / multimessenger astronomy.  As a NANOGrav member my focus is on astrophysical interpretations of the gravitational wave background and improvements to the way we model high-redshift black hole populations.

I entered graduate school in 2021 after receiving my B.S. in astronomy and physics from the University of Washington.

In my spare time I enjoy watching Star Trek, beading, and maximizing my spice tolerance.  I also have a deep love for birds (especially raptors and parrots) and I try to spend lots of time outside because that's where the birds are and my hair looks great in the sun.
