I am currently studying and working as third year graduate student at University of Maryland, College Park.

I obtained my bachelor’s degree from the University of Glasgow in Molecular and cellular biology. After graduated, I worked a year at Washington University in St Louis to do cancer-related research. I graduated 2021 October from the MRes cancer biology (informatics) program at Imperial College London and got into UMD BISI graduate MOCB (Molecular Cell Biology) program in 2022. Currently, my primary interest and proposed work is to investigate functional phenotypes of conserved long noncoding RNAs in Drosophila melanogaster and D. pseduoobscura.
