I am in my final year as a Ph.D. candidate in Information Systems at the University of Maryland, specifically in the Robert H. Smith School of Business. My advisor is Dr. Il-Horn Hann. My committee members include Dr. Siva Viswanathan, Dr. Jui Ramaprasad, Dr. Kunpeng Zhang, and Dr. Anna Alberini.
My research blends empirical techniques and machine learning techniques to recover user interactions within and across digital platforms from large-scale unstructured data. By decoding user behaviors from unstructured data, I aim to provide valuable insights to platform policymakers and business stakeholders.
Feel free to reach out anytime to shkwon12@umd.edu if you are interested in my work.
