Shayan Hobbi is an HL7 FHIR certified health informatics and interoperability leader serving healthcare, public health, and biomedical research clients.
Shayan holds an MBA with a focus in Healthcare Management/Strategy, and an MS in Information Systems (with "a focus in Health Informatics) from the University of Maryland with a seasoned background in industry and consulting.
Shayan's professional experience has been focused on: real-world data analytics and interoperability, public health reporting and surveillance, building eminence in the health informatics community, establishing partnerships with provider payer organizations, HIEs, research organizations, and other data partners, conducting health outcomes research including retrospective population health studies using real world data (claims, EHR, and registry data) and prospective study design/patient engagement, health data standards and governance (FHIR, OMOP, PCORnet), and health IT systems design and implementation.

Aliasghar Hussian is a cloud data engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS). He holds an MS in Information Systems from the University of Maryland with a focus in Data Analytics. He utilized technology to improve Analysis & Data Insights for my clients and increase their business earnings and ROI’s. A passion for growth and learning is the driving force which inspires him to achieve new heights, being able to learn how to identify business problems and carry out business process improvements, develop strategies and implement smart tactics to address these issues.
As a Subject matter expert in database migration services and cloud infrastructure, with over four years of hands-on experience in cloud support Database engineering and around 3 years in Data warehousing & governance, Ali specialize in Big data & RDS implementations with AWS. His expertise extends to curating custom solutions for data usage with AWS building, building ETL pipelines, and ensuring data compliance along with streamlining transition into cloud environment.
