I'm a PhD student and Faculty Specialist in the University of Maryland’s Department of Geographical Sciences, working with Dr. Matthew Hansen in the GLAD Lab. My research focuses on tropical forest disturbance, agricultural land use dynamics, land-use change, and the accuracy of satellite-based monitoring products. Methods include remote sensing, statistical sampling, and geospatial analysis to estimate land cover change and quantify uncertainty.
