Urban Greenway Planning: Adapting to Expanding and Contracting Cities
The theme for the 2019 conference explores the social and ecological potential of linear green spaces in urban areas that are experiencing decline or those that are booming. We look to understand the variety of ways in which urban greenways are conceived, designed, built, used, and maintained in cities across the globe in response to economic and demographic trends. We invite abstracts (200-400 words) describing research, a project summary, or a perspective essay.
Full article submission
Authors whose abstracts are accepted will be encouraged to submit a full paper for peer-review. An accepted paper will enable the author to present at the conference and publish in a peer-reviewed conference proceedings.
For those interested in presenting in our poster session, please submit an abstract outlining the scope of your project, research, or perspective by the October 29th deadline. This abstract will be included in the proceedings.
