Hello! I am a geologist who specializes in micropaleontology (foraminifera!) and paleoceanography. My research investigates past warm intervals in Earth History that serve as an analog for our future climate.
Currently, I am studying Early to Middle Miocene (~18 to 13.7 Ma) foraminiferal assemblages from across the Ross Sea continental shelf, Antarctica. In addition to my research, I am passionate about outreach, science education (all levels), and DEI initiatives.
Outside of academia, I enjoy reading, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with my dog Pearly.
Pearly is the unofficial emotional support dog in the Department of Earth, Geographic, and Climate Sciences.
