2022 Northeast Star and Planet Formation Meeting

The seventh edition of the Northeast Star and Planet Formation Meeting will take place on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Wesleyan University between 9am and 5pm (talks begin at 9:30am). The aim of this series of meetings is to bring together students, postdocs, researchers, and faculty from Northeast institutions who are working on topics related to star and planet formation. These topics include exoplanets/circumstellar disks, pre-stellar and protostellar cores, outflows, and molecular clouds. Presentations are 10 minutes + 2 minutes for discussion. Breakout sessions are also planned.

In order to get a count on the number of participants and to generate a schedule of talks and breakout sessions, you must register by 6pm EST, 30 June, 2022. The registration form is available here .

Location

The meeting will take place in the Ring Family Performing Arts Hall and the Van Vleck Observatory on the Wesleyan University campus. A full, searchable campus map is found here, and a detailed zoom-in of the region is shown at left.

Parking is plentiful in Wesleyan's "V" lot on Vine St., with no parking permit required. Expect some walking between the parking and the venue, however. Please contact the meeting organizers if you need closer parking to meet your accessibility needs.
