This course provides valuable insights into consumer psychology and behavioral traits that serve as the basis for successful branding and marketing strategies for start-ups. The Expert

Dr. Yusniza Kamarulzaman

Dr Yusniza Kamarulzaman is an Associate Professor and serves as Deputy Dean (Higher Degree) at the Faculty of Business and Accountancy, UM. She is the former Head of Marketing Department and the Director of the University Malaya Centre of Innovation and Commercialisation. She received her PhD in Marketing in 2006, PgDiploma in Research Methodology in 2003, both from Cardiff University, UK, followed by PgDiploma in Entrepreneurship from Cambridge University in 2013. She holds an MBA from UKM and obtained her BBA (Marketing) from UiTM. She started her career as a lecturer in 1996. Dr Yusniza teaches Marketing Management, Retailing, Global Marketing, e-Marketing and Research Methodology for Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. She has published numerous articles, books and book chapters, monographs, and course modules in her expertise area. Her books, Principles of Marketing, Marketing Management and Hospitality and Tourism marketing, published by Oxford University Press have been widely adopted by Malaysian higher learning
