Learn how to differentiate the branch of Applied Mathematics among other branches of Mathematics. Define some terminologies of heat transfer as a field of study in Applied Mathematics and appreciate the applications of heat transfer in human daily life and in industry
The Expert
Dr. Noor Fadiya Mohd Noor
Dr. Noor Fadiya Mohd Noor is a Senior Lecturer and the Deputy Head (Research & Innovation) under Institute of Mathematical Sciences (ISM), Faculty of Science. She is the Director of Center for Data Analytics Consultancy and Services (UM-CDACS) and was a CEO@Faculty 2.0 Fellow in 2018. Her research expertise is in the area of fluid mechanics and heat transfer with a focus in boundary layer non-Newtonian nanofluid flows. Among the courses she taught in UM includes Mathematical Methods, Structured Programming, Numerical Methods and Computational Fluid Dynamics.
