GEHMe participated in the European Space Weather Week 2024 held in Coimbra, Portugal.

University of Mendoza - Engineering Faculty through GEHMe + GAAS hosted the III Astronomy and Astrophysics meeting for students and graduate students on October 25, 2024. We thank our invited speakers Dr. Georgina Coldwell and Dr. Eduardo Bringa.

Visit of Daria Sorokina from KU Leuven in the frame of the Dynasun project, under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions - Staff Exchanges funded by the Horizon Europe program of the European Research Council. This is a one-month secondment starting on August 14, 2024.

Visit of Antonio Niemela from KU Leuven in the frame of the Dynasun project, under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions - Staff Exchanges funded by the Horizon Europe program of the European Research Council. This is a one-month secondment starting on July 15, 2024.

First potential meteorite fall registered by the network FRIPON during the night on July 10, 2024. The estimated impact site is in the Argentine Andes close to the border with Chile. The event was registered by the cameras located in ETec (Escuela Técnica de la Universidad de Mendoza) and Santiago de Chile. More information here.
