Week Without Walls at Kyiv International School

"Earth & sky, woods & fields, lakes & rivers, mountains & the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach us more than we can ever learn from books." John Lubbock

Week Without Walls

Week Without Walls is a curriculum-based, Adventure Education program offered to Secondary I – III students at Kyiv International School.

Adventure Education is an experiential learning process that takes place in a variety of outdoor and indoor settings. Utilizing the Challenge by Choice model - participants are challenged during each Week Without Walls course to be fully engaged in activities that provide opportunity for physical and emotional growth; community building; and leadership development.

Students who successfully complete a Week Without Walls course are eligible to receive academic credit either through the new QSI Experiential Learning curriculum or the Physical Education Lifetime Sports curriculum.

The theme of our 2018 program is Explore Ukraine as students are given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the mountains, valleys, rivers, beaches and countryside in this amazing place we call home.

Review each course page for a detailed description and itinerary.
