The SEASIREN - Southeast Asia Social Information and Education Network website is an information portal that revolves around the Malaysian chapter of the Southeast Asian (SEA) communities. The SEAsiren received a grant funding for the project is from the “Staying Resilient Amid the Pandemic in Southeast Asia” Small Grant Program, an initiative of SEA Junction (www.seajunction.org) with support of the CMB Foundation. The program provides funds to efforts working to build social capital, strengthen community resilience, improve the living and health conditions of local communities (geographical as well as functional) and enhance their capacity to cope with the current situation of COVID-19 and its longer-term socio-economic and health impacts .
At present, this website highlights the awareness and education on health and wellness of Malaysian children as part of the Southeast Asia Community, aptly named "Bijak Nutrisi, Keluarga Bervisi" which also means families that are smart with nutrition, possess a clearer vision of the family wellness.
