International Innovation Competition on Languages, Education and Societies (IINNCOME2022) is an event hosted by Academy of Language Studies, UiTM Cawangan Perlis. This avenue aims to nurture innovation culture among students, language educators, and practitioners at secondary and tertiary level, as well as communities and industries. Participants are only required to submit an innovation video of teaching and learning idea or product either in group or individually.

This competition is open to all students, language educators, and practitioners at all levels.
Participation is open to individuals or groups by category.
The maximum number per group is SIX (6) members, including the group leader.
The combination of lecturer, staff and students is allowed;
Category C: Maximum TWO (2) lecturers/staff per group.
Category D: Maximum TWO (2) teachers/staff per group.

Each group will be awarded ONLY ONE (1) certificate of participation.

Each winner will be awarded ONLY ONE (1) certificate of award.
Video Pitching Guidelines
Each group is required to send in a recording of a video presentation of the innovative product (idea, strategy, programme, or project).
The length of the recording must not exceed FOUR (4) minutes.
The presentation needs to be done only in English language.
The recommended file formats for video presentations: MP4, MPEG4, MOV, WMV, FLV, AVI, etc.
All videos need to be sent using the link provided in the registration form.
Judging
Judges will evaluate the entries in the allocated judging period.
The participant(s) will be judged based on these criteria: content, creativity and novelty, quality, language, and ethic.
The participant(s) with the highest score for each category will be chosen as the winner(s).
The jury’s decision is final and no appeal will be entertained.
Innovation must be original and new.
The maximum number per group is SIX (6) members, including the group leader.
Each participation must include an abstract of the innovation using the specified format (max: 250 words)

The registration link will be emailed to the participants after the abstract has been accepted.
Participants may submit more than one entry using the link provided.
Each group is accountable for their own copyright to avoid any plagiarism or piracy issues.
