Profile
Nor Hazila Ismail is currently the Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Management, University Teknologi Mara Johor. Prior to academia, she was a research and development executive at Etika Takaful Berhad formerly known as Takaful Nasional Sdn Berhad. Hazila graduated with a BBA (H) Risk Management and Insurance from the Universiti Teknologi Mara, and obtained a MBA in Finance from The Graduate Business School, Universiti Putra Malaysia. She completed her PhD in Islamic Finance at International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF), Malaysia. Her publications in research journals include areas such as Islamic finance, Islamic economics, portfolio and investment analysis and capital markets.
