Profile


Derwina Daud joined UiTM in September 2001 as a Lecturer in the Akademi Pengajian Bahasa. 

Being an English lecturer, she finds enjoyment and pleasure in penning down life experiences. Reading is another way for her to seek comfort and calmness after a hectic day. Her work ranges from tutoring students on campus to providing extra English classes to the community. Her team won a gold award in the iidex (Invention, Innovation & Design Exposition) 2015 with a product called Post A View.

In 2016, she completed a research on Foreign Language Anxiety among non native speakers of Arabic in UiTM Segamat. From 2016-2018, she worked with MASMED UiTM Segamat as a Language Editor. She is one of the Languge Editors for the IABC that is  organized biennially by UiTM Segamat. Currently, she is working on a research on running language employed by  Malaysian runners.
