Short BIO

QUAN LE-TRUNG received his Doctor of Technical Science (Dr.techn.) degree at Dept. of Telecooperation, Johannes Kepler University-Linz, Austria in 2007, then he has spent 9 months post doc there, and another 24 months postdoc at Networks & Distributed Systems group, Dept. of Informatics, University of Oslo, Norway. He received his Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) from Asian Institute of Technology, in Thailand in 2002, and the Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) from Bach Khoa University of Technology (BKU), Vietnam in 1998. He was appointed an Associate Professor position, and the Dean position at the Faculty of Computer Networks and Communications, University of Information Technology - VNUHCM in 2016, and 2019, respectively. His research interests span a variety of areas in networking, and currently focus on the Wireless Embedded Internet, Cyber Physical Systems, Internet of Things, Cloud/Edge Computing, Smart Cities.
