The course introduces students to the foundational concepts of computer science and challenges them to explore how computing and technology can impact the world. Computer Science Principles was designed with the goal of creating leaders in computer science fields and attracting and engaging those who are traditionally underrepresented with essential computing tools and multidisciplinary opportunities.

About me
I have been an educator in Wyoming since 2012, teaching Computer Science at Horizon Alternative High School. With 20 years of experience in the field, he divides his time between server and network administration and teaching. Jared holds a bachelor's degree in cybersecurity and information assurance. In addition to his teaching role, he volunteers for the WGU cybersecurity club and leads classes at BOCES 1 in Evanston, focusing on cybersecurity education and the use of equipment in the maker space.
