Abstract:
The author of the article has developed a set of tasks aimed at developing the emotional and valuable attitude of future fine art specialists to decorative and applied art. The tasks are built on the example of one or two topics from the educational component ‘Decorative and Applied Art’, but they can be modified according to other topics taking into account regional characteristics.
The proposed tasks are aimed at the development of an emotional and valuable attitude to art and reality in the context of the use of decorative and applied art, which involves: interest and need to get acquainted with the peculiarities of the native culture and the cultures of other peoples; ethnocultural tolerance; persistent cognitive and professional interest in the study of Ukrainian folk crafts, national culture, the formation of emotional and aesthetic experiences, ideals, aspirations, judgments, thoughts, and feelings by means of folk crafts; understanding of the meaningful value of folk art, aesthetic experiences of its artistic background, artistic images; readiness to reassess one’s own artistic pursuits; personification of oneself as a representative of a certain culture, language, ethnicity.
The conditions for the effective development of an emotional and valuable attitude to decorative and applied art are determined: reliance on highly artistic works of folk art that have moral and aesthetic value; revealing the aesthetic aspects of the beauty of the search for truth, enjoyment of the objectification of the spiritual values of humanity; emotional saturation, aesthetic expressiveness of the presentation of the material; providing the educational process with the features of creating an artistic image; creating a situation of choice - creating several options for activity programs that provide the prerequisites for a conscious choice, the responsibility of each student for his choice, for the result of the activity; taking into account the needs that are relevant for students, thanks to which one’s own sense of artistic and aesthetic self-improvement can be effectively formed.
