Abstract:
Education of secondary school students in the integrated course «Art» is an important component of the educational process in the secondary level of general education, since today school youth are required to be competent in various types of art, free orientation in artistic genres and types, possessing intelligence in synthetic arts and the ability to learning based on the interaction of words, music and stage action. Such a complex of artistic interaction of art forms in opera involves the formation of artistic competence in schoolchildren in the perception of opera art, the availability of knowledge, skills and abilities to analyze opera, libretto, the system of means of musical and stage expressiveness, types of drama; interpret artistic ideas, system of images, genre-stylistic and historical features of the opera genre.
Opera as an art form is a complex genre of synthetic arts, which is characterized by the unity of musical and dramatic principles, the interaction of vocal, symphonic music, poetry and dramatic theater, painting, ballet. The opera genre relies on the interaction of various dramaturgical components. In the process of historical development, the art of opera evolved, changed in visual and stylistic, dramaturgical and compositional aspects.
In our research, by pedagogical conditions, we mean a set of external circumstances and internal features of the subjects of art education, which directly affect the effectiveness of forming their ideas about opera as a synthetic genre.
The first pedagogical condition is determined by the pedagogical influence on the targeted stimulation of the motivational and value sphere of the 5th classes students of the comprehensive school regarding the study of opera as a synthetic genre in art classes. The second pedagogical condition determines the pedagogical influence on the growth of the artistic horizons and awareness of students of the 5th classes of a comprehensive school in the aspect of cognitive activity on the history and theory of opera as a synthetic artistic genre in art classes. The third pedagogic condition determined the formation of creative skills in the students of the 5th classes of the secondary school in art lessons based on ideas about opera as a synthetic artistic genre.
It was noted that the developed pedagogical conditions were successfully tested in a secondary school and provided for a sequence of actions, as each previous condition was fundamental in the educational process. The process of forming the ideas of students of 5th classes of a comprehensive school about opera as a synthetic artistic genre is considered from the point of view of revealing the developed artistic consciousness of schoolchildren in creative activities in art lessons and gaining experience in perceiving the values of world opera art.
