Abstract:
The article reveals the role of intercultural communication in the formation of methodological competence of foreign language specialists. The field of research interests is enriched by cognitive, cognitive-active and communicative approaches that include various aspects of language functioning. At the same time, the modern linguistic paradigm, being historical, social, system-structural, psychological, remains, according to linguists, devoid of the presence of living human spirituality. Therefore, the choice of a linguistic personality as an object of linguistic-psychological research shows the need for a systematic and complex analysis. This helps to expand its components and give a cultural-pragmatic description of the language for methodical purposes.
The task of intercultural communication is the formation of intercultural competence, the necessary knowledge about different peoples and cultures in order to avoid interethnic and intercultural conflicts and establish comfortable conditions of communication in various spheres and life situations.
The educational result today reflects the multifunctional nature of education and is manifested in the formation of key, general subject and subject competencies at a certain level.
Methodological competence is based on methodical thinking as a prerequisite for understanding acquired knowledge and development of methodical skills and abilities based on reflection in the course of solving methodical tasks.
Understanding the role of IM (foreign language) at the current stage of society’s development requires solving a number of scientific problems related to the study of intercultural communication and the integration of culture into the theory and practice of teaching IM, which is determined by a number of factors.
The content of methodical training of future foreign language specialists is subject knowledge of foreign language teaching methods, methodical skills and abilities, and professionally significant personal qualities.
Keywords: intercultural communication, methodological competence, foreign language specialists, education.
