Abstract:

The article is an attempt to combine cultural and artistic issues, to generalize scattered information dedicated to Klara Balog’s multi-vector activity in the field of choreographic art. The purpose of the article is to consider the nature of the phenomenon of the creative personality of the Artist-balletmaster, the Berehyna of folk art, the Muse-inspirer, the Woman who personified a very special character inherent in the Ukrainian historical realities of the 20th century. transformation, experienced the complex formation of individual professional experience, life and professional history of a legendary level.

The application of the cultural approach, the historical-chronological principle, as well as the systematization of the sources of the Fund of the Transcarpathian Regional Museum named after Tyvodar Legotskyi provided an opportunity to conduct an objective scientific study. It has been proven that today the Transcarpathian school of folk and stage choreography is based on the principles of continuity and unity of traditions initiated by K. Balog in the field of preservation and enrichment of the song and choreographic folklore of Transcarpathia, which combines Ukrainian art and the art of all national minorities of the region.

The Honored Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir, with which the life and work of Berehyna folk art are inextricably linked, carefully preserves performance traditions, folklore practice, creative principles of artistic collective management and dance masterpieces of the choreographer-producer, and continuity is a key feature of the school’s viability.
