Abstract:
The article analyzes the scientific discourse of the problem of forming the artistic and aesthetic needs of students of higher education by means of choreographic art. It has been updated that choreographic art can satisfy a person’s desire for aesthetic growth, connect his inner and outer world, and activate creative imagination.
In the plane of the scientific study of the raised problem, works were presented, where a study of theoretical foundations was carried out and an analysis of modern approaches to the education of the aesthetic culture of future choreographers in extra-auditory activities of the university was carried out; theory and practice of forming the aesthetic culture of future designers in higher education institutions; the conceptual aspects and main directions of the research of the problem of artistic and aesthetic education in institutions of higher education are considered, the factors of the formation of artistic and aesthetic needs in the system of human values are determined.
It was revealed that artistic and aesthetic education provides an opportunity for each individual to evaluate the phenomena of reality through the prism of the highest spiritual-moral and artistic-aesthetic ideals. It is emphasized that scientists associate the ideas of enriching aesthetic consciousness, artistic-aesthetic perception, accumulation of artistic-aesthetic experience, activation of artistic-aesthetic creative activity with the development of personality culture, which aims to realize the need for freedom of expression of all creative possibilities.
It was found that a thorough methodical basis for understanding the problem of artistic and aesthetic needs as an important step in the hierarchy of needs is the consideration by researchers (philosophers, teachers, psychologists, methodologists) of needs in general as a creative activity, emphasizing at the same time its stimulating role in the development of interests, acquisition of new knowledge, expansion of horizons, formation of moral and aesthetic norms and artistic and aesthetic needs.
